Handled personally
You deal with the senior adviser throughout — never a delegated file or an unseen junior.
How we work
Every engagement is run on four commitments, a clear sequence and deliberate boundaries. The process protects the client, the practice and the quality of the answer.
Commitments
The operating model is deliberately small: direct access to the person doing the work, predictable scope and independent advice.
You deal with the senior adviser throughout — never a delegated file or an unseen junior.
Every engagement begins with a written engagement letter recording the deliverables, assumptions and timing — so both sides know exactly what has been agreed.
We act with no financial interest in the outcome and no competing obligations. The advice you receive is the advice the situation calls for.
Client identities and matters are never disclosed or used in marketing without written permission. Discretion is part of the service.
Why an independent advisory?
Senior attention on every file, fees that can be predicted, fewer conflicts and a practice concentrated on advice, drafting and judgement.
Firms run on leverage: a senior name wins the work, junior hands do much of it. Here there is no leverage model. The person you brief is the person who does the work.
Hourly billing rewards time spent, not results delivered. We price per deliverable wherever possible and invoice on completion — the cost is known at the outset, not discovered at the end.
A large firm carries hundreds of client relationships, any of which can bar it from acting. A small, deliberate practice has a narrow conflict surface and can tell you quickly and plainly.
We do not run a trust account or hold client funds, and we take no reserved or trust-based work. That focus keeps overheads low and the practice concentrated on advice, drafting and judgement.
The engagement sequence
The first stage is intentionally light. Confidential detail is not requested until fit, conflicts and the terms of engagement are settled.
